The "Ökoweingut Hubertushof" is located in the municipality of Lieser (Bernkastel area) in the German Mosel wine growing region. The Hubertus statue as the trademark of the estate dates back to 1901. Attached to the winery is a guest house. In 1978 Hermann Botzet took over the business from his father and changed from cask wine to bottled wine. In the 1980s, the winery became a pioneer in the processing of red wine grapes with thermal vinification and red wine making. Today, the business is run by Hermann-Josef Botzet, his wife Maria and son Hubert after training as cellar masters in the Trier State Viniculture Domain. The vineyards comprise almost ten hectares of vineyards in the individual locations Niederberg-Helden and Rosenlay (Lieser), as well as Sonnenuhr (Maring-Noviand). The white wine varieties Riesling, Kerner, Pinot Blanc and Müller-Thurgau, as well as the red wine varieties Blue Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Black Riesling and Domina are cultivated.

In 2007, the conversion to organic viticulture took place according to the guidelines of the ECOVIN association. The cultivation is characterised by intensive manual work in foliage and soil cultivation, vine care and processing of the grapes. The use of chemical-synthetic pesticides such as herbicides, insecticides and other pesticides, as well as genetic engineering is avoided. As far as possible, the preservation of the diversity of plants, insects, birds and other beneficial organisms is promoted by sowing green clover in winter, wolf mix (flowering plants) in spring and rape. Fertilization is done with plant and mineral preparations such as compost. Quality criteria are low yields and gentle processing. Spontaneous fermentation occurs in some cases. The premium wines include "Hubertushof Prestige Auslese edelsüß" (Riesling). Bottle-fermented sparkling wines, noble brandies (marc, grape, William pear) and sparkling wines are also produced. The winery is a member of the ECOVIN ecological association.
