2021 Maximin Grünhaus Herrenberg Riesling VDP.Grosse Lage Superior, Mosel, Germany

Clear, firm, quite polished citrus-stone fruit nose with fine, fresh herbal and delicately floral aromas and distinct minerality. Tight, moderately sweet fruit with yeasty and tart, fresh herbal to herbaceous aromas, a little chicory on the palate, lively, fine acidity and grip, persistent, quite dense, good depth, distinct minerality, smoky traces, still very young but already animating, cool style, very good, tight, again rather tart finish with grip and plenty of draw.
