2016 Maximin Grünhaus Abtsberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Mosel, Germany

Deep. concentrated, complex nose, still yeasty, actually closes down further with aeration, ripe yellow fruit, hint of black berries, floral notes, intense mineral notes. Fairly juicy, sweetish, partly candied fruit on the palate, lively acidity, very fine tannic grip, persistent and concentrated, more intense mineral notes, hint of tobacco, touch of black berries in the backgroiund, fairly firm structure, good depth, still largely undeveloped, yeasty, vegetal and herbaceous notes, very juicy on a very good long, minerally finish. Needs time to mature.
