2013 Terre di Cosenza DOC "Ejá", Calabria, Italy

Firm and deep, slightly developed, quite complex aroma of partly dried yellow fruits with nutty aromas, a little anise, rye, caraway and coriander. Ripe, tart, again rather tightly knit fruit with lots of yellow spice, nutty aromas and bread crust, very fine acidity, lots of grip, dense and persistent on the palate, good depth, has power, tobacco nuances in the background, mineral tones, very good, firm, tangy, complex finish. First class and very independent.
