2021 Kremstal DAC Ried Zwetl Grüner Veltliner Erste ÖTW Ried trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Restrained, tart, planty to herbal and a hint of floral scent with bright yellow fruity aromas and mineral nuances. Bright fruit also in the mouth, planty tones reminiscent of celery, lively, fine acidity and some grip, smoky traces, good persistence, a little candy and yellow spice, quite clear minerality in the background, has power but at the same time a certain freshness and cooling ethereal elements, hints of blackberry in the background, also a little aloe vera, very good, tight, juicy finish with bite.

Ripe, juicy, a touch sweetish fruit, slightly ethereal spiciness going in the direction of medicinal herbs, fine acidity and some grip, persistent on the palate, a hint of dark fruit, a little courgette, hints of blackcurrant, minerality in the background, very good, quite firm, somewhat sweetish finish with candied fruit tones, dried mushrooms, and ethereal notes again.
