2010 Kremstal DAC Ried Piri Riesling trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Nose still closed, stone fruit, herbs and vegetal notes. Straightforward firm apple and peach fruit on the palate, also still closed, delicately tart herbs, light earthy and intense mineral notes, fairly prominent acidity, has substance and backbone, still slightly rough, improves with extended aeration, becomes more polished, good depth, very good firm finish, becomes more refreshing with aeration.

Best to drink: Ende 2012 bis 2016+. What our ratings mean
