2008 Grüner Veltliner Trockenbeerenauslese süß, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Very concentrated nose, light vegetal notes, preserved and candied stone and pomaceous fruit, earthy and herbaceous notes, touch of old oak. Quite concentrated again on the palate, very sweet fruit, also has earthy and mineral notes, prominent vegetal notes, hint of tobacco, very elegant acidity, deep and persistent, delicate hint of mushrooms and some undergrowth, still largely undeveloped, very long finish.
