The winery "Manuel Manzaneque Finca Élez" is located in the municipality of El Bonillo (province of Albacete) in the Spanish region of La Mancha (Castilla-La Mancha). It was founded in 1992 by former actor and Madrid theatre producer Manuel Manzaneque and then acquired by Olallo Villoldo and Llanos Ruiz in 2020. The "Finca Élez" area was classified as the highest Spanish wine quality level Vino de Pago in 2003. The vineyards in the mountainous region of Sierra de Alcarz cover 40 hectares of vines at an altitude of 1,080 metres above sea level on clay-sand soils interspersed with lime and marl. The red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and Tempranillo are cultivated, some of which were imported from France. Since 2011, the vineyards have been cultivated according to the certified rules of organic viticulture. The product range includes various Vino de Pago wines made from these grape varieties, which are matured in stainless steel tanks or in barrique barrels, depending on the type of wine. Around 200,000 bottles of wine are produced annually.
