2010 Champagne AOC Brut Blanc de Blancs, Champagne, France

Cool, distinctly yeasty citrus scent with some pome fruit, hints of mussel shells as well as herbal and light floral aromas. Clear, tight, slightly sweetish fruit, herbal and again clearly yeasty aromas, much bite and grip, fine mousseux, persistent on the palate, very lightly light-tobacco and almondy, floral nuances, salt in the background, some depth, very good, sweetish-juicy and yeasty finish with bite and grip
