The winery is located in the municipality of Narni (province of Terni) in the south of the Italian region of Umbria. It was founded in 2008 by Leonardo Bussoletti. He is particularly concerned with the Ciliegiolo variety and is also president of the "Associazione Produttori Ciliegiolo di Narni". The selection of autochthonous varieties was made on the basis of analyses and laboratory tests. The vineyards cover nine hectares of vines planted with the varieties Ciliegiolo, Grechetto di Orvieto, Grechetto di Todi (Pignoletto) and Trebbiano Spoletino. From the beginning, certified organic farming was practised according to the guidelines of the Suolo e Salute association.
The product range includes several IGT wines, which are vinified according to variety and terroir. The premium wines are the red wine "Brecciaro" (100% Ciliegiolo, 12 months ageing, 70% of which in stainless steel tanks on the fine le es and 30% in 25 hl oak barrels, then 6 to 7 months in the bottle), the red wine "Ramici" (100% Ciliegiolo from 50-year-old vines, 12 months in tonneaux, 12 months in 20 hl oak barrels, 8 to 12 months in bottle) and the white wine "Colle Ozio" (50% each Grechetto di Orvieto and Grechetto di Todi, 6 months in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees, 6 to 8 months in bottle). Over 60,000 bottles of wine are produced annually, 60% of which are exported to Europe to the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Japan, Finland and England, as well as to the United States.
