2016 Chianti Classico DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Rather tart, dried-vegetable to herbal aroma of rather black berries and cherries with slightly fleshy notes and a hint of juniper. Straightforward, quite juicy fruit, some bite, fine tannin, again herbs and a little juniper on the palate, some persistence, noticeable alcohol, salt and again meaty hints on the palate, a hint of paprika, good to very good, alcoholic finish with ethereal notes
