Firm, somewhat smoky and restrained bacon-meaty aroma of ripe black and blue berries with red pepper, a bit of pepper, tobacco, and herbs. Ripe, firm-textured, juicy fruit, slightly smoky, hinted sooty and bacon-like notes, fine, ripe tannins, persistent on the palate, a trace of lavender and Mediterranean herbs, along with dark chocolate, a hint of coffee, very good finish with ripe fruit and partly roasted spice.
