Tart dark fruit with slightly bitterish wood notes, again some stalky-animalic and also earthy tones, herbal notes and pepper, slightly plummy notes on the palate, a hint of bread bark and malt, good depth, salt in the background, ethereal spice, lots of strength and alcohol, tobacco and cedary tones, a little pipe tobacco, plus black olives and a hint of sultanas, very good, powerful finish with ripe juice and spice.
