Firm, fairly deep nose, black berries, light tarry notes, hint of bacon, cocoa and mint. Very firm, ripe, tart black fruit on the palate, fairly prominent youthful tannins, light toasted notes and some tar, hint of tobacco, dried herbs, cedary traces, peppery traces, concentrated and persistent, good depth, salty mineral notes in the background, full body, noticeable high alcohol, but also has cool elements, more minty notes, spicy oak on a very good, firm, tart, juicy finish.
