2016 Bad Kösen Saalhäuser Blauer Zweigelt trocken Alte Reben, Saale-Unstrut, Germany

Very light hint of tobacco and some earthy notes on the nose, predominantly dark berries, hint of cherries and some tree bark. Clear, straightforward, fairly juicy, ripe fruit on the palate, light nutty and floral notes, hint of blood in the background, earthyand mineral traces, fine, youthful tannins, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, fairly firm structure, good to very good finish.
