Fairly firm nose, hint of tobacco and some undergrowth. red andblack berries, mineral and light cedary notes. Clear, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, integrated sandy tannins, slightly smoky toasted oak, some coffee notes, hint of tobacco, dried herbs, peppery spce, hint of bacon and mushrooms, some depth, prominent mineral notes, very good tart finish, becomes more juicy with aeration.
