2008 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Chardonnay Maso Reiner, Alto Adige, Italy

Partly dried pomaceous fruit on the nose, hint of citrus, light nutty and vegetal notes, spicy oak. More fiarly prominent spicy oak on the palate, apples, some pears and citrus fruit, hint of candied nuts, elegant acidity, very slightly astringent tannins, good substance and persistence, quite firm, still youthful, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2012+. What our ratings mean
