2006 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva "Athesis", Alto Adige, Italy

Very slightly open nose, red and black berries, delicately tart cherry notes, chocolate and a hint of oak, Quite firm on the palate, juicy fruit, some spicy oak, earthy and mineral traces, slightly sandy tannins, unfortunately also some volatile notes, fairly persistent, good to very good finish.
