2020 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Riserva "Monticol®", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, somewhat herbal aroma of ripe red and black berries with juniper tones and floral nuances. Taut, tart, ripe fruit with some acidity and fine, quite present tannins, nutty and delicately tobacco flavours on the palate, a hint of smoke, herbal nuances, juniper and peppery spice in the background, also salty minerality, some depth, still young, smoky nuances, very good, firm, juicy and ethereal-spicy finish with bite.
