2016 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gewürztraminer Lunare, Alto Adige, Italy

Tart nose, nutty and vegetal notes, earthy and mineral notes, fairly restrained, partly dried yellow fruit, prominent herbaceous notes, floral traces, hint of green bacon, facial cream and light mineral notes. Ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, fairly cool in spite of the high alcohol, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, floral notes and some black berries, good persistence, slightly sweetish, yeasty notes, chalky and salty mineral notes, hint of tobacco, touch of bacon again, some depth, quite complex, vegetal aromas and wilted flowers on a very good finish, apart from the high alcohol.
