2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Riserva Montigl, Alto Adige, Italy

Editor note: Berries on the nose, light vegetal notes with a hint of leeks, some bread, earthy traces. Fairly polished, partly dried fruit on the palate, light smoky notes and old oak, more prominent vegetal notes, light earthy notes, medium-fine tannins, good persistence, still quite young, fairly warm alcohol, light smoky and vegetal notes on the finish. Very good results from a rather difficult vintage.
