2005 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Terlan Weißburgunder Rarity, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm nose, prominent green vegetal notes, light yeasty notes, elegant citrus aromas, prominent mushrooms and earthy notes, hint of bacon. Ripe, tart, creamy fruit on the palate, nutty and light vegetal notes, prominent mushrooms, elegant acidity, yeasty nots, persistent and concentrated, full-bodied. lots of substance, very elegant acidity, some grip, good depth, much younger than the nose initially leads one to believe, hint of tobacco, salty mineral notes, resiny herbaceous notes, prominent fennel on a long, complex, juicy, gripping vegetal finish.
