2003 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Lagrein Riserva Gries, Alto Adige, Italy

Slightly herbaceous nose, blueberries and preserved cherries. Cool, dark, quite juicy fruit, delicate vegetal notes, medium-fine, still youthful tannins, good presence on the palate, floral notes, clearly shows variety and origin, smoky notes, attractive to good finish.
