2020 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Blanc "Schliff", Alto Adige, Italy

Vegetal and delicately peppery aroma with savoy cabbage notes, floral nuances, restrained white and yellow fruit aromas, mountain herbs and a hint of dark berries. Tart, quite tightly knit, somewhat melting fruit, fennel and mountain herbs on the palate, also some root vegetables, fine acidity and restrained, mellow tannin, good persistence, medium power, some chalk and salt, black berry nuances again, pepper in the background, quite dense core, very good, tart, a hint of ethereal finish.
