Clear red and a little black berry nose with floral notes reminiscent of hibiscus, a little nuts and coffee grounds. Tart fruit with dark, somewhat toasty wood notes, again coffee grounds and nutty flavours, slightly drying, sandy tannin, some power and persistence, a hint of tobacco and pepper, smoky nuances, hints of grilled aubergine in the background, good to very good, again somewhat warm and a hint drying finish with hibiscus.

Best to drink: 2023-2027+. What our ratings mean
