2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Sanct Valentin, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm yeasty nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, still rather closed, citrussy yellow fruit aromas, light floral traces, hint of bell peppers, fairly prominent mineral notes in the background. Ripe, juicy, delicately sweetish fruit on the palate, yeasty notes, some nutty oak, touch of caramel in the background, elegant, lively acidity, good substance and persistence, full-bodied, noticeable alcohol, but quite well integrated, some sugar candy and a hint of tobacco in the background, prominent salty mineral notes, still very young, some Williams christ pears in the background, more salty notes and sugar candy on a very good, long, firm, alcoholic finish.
