2014 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Riserva, Alto Adige, Italy

Slightly spicy nose, partly preserved red berries and some plums, dried herbs, oak, some tobacco and mineral traces. Ripe. fairly juicy fruit on the palate, light smoky, spicy oak, hint of tobacco, fine tannins, light bite, salty mineral traces in the background, hint of dried herbs, noticeable warm alcohol, touch of sugar candy and chocolate, some bite on a good to very good finish with slightly jammy fruit.
