Malted notes on the nose, dried vegetal notes and a hint of tobacco, light oak, ripe, partly preserved and dried red and a few black berries, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly warm soft-contoured fruit on the palate, smoky, nutty oak, some root vegetables, integrated sandy tannins, noticeable high alcohol, hint of coffee grounds, good to very good finish. Has improved significantly since the last tasting, but could still be coooler and a little more elegant.
