2019 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon "Lafóa®", Alto Adige, Italy

Quite firm, clearly green-vegetable and somewhat herbal aroma with white and yellow fruit aromas, root vegetables, floral tones and a hint of smoke. Ripe, very juicy and melting, yet firmly knit, concentrated fruit, fine acidity, some grip, yeasty traces, clearly vegetal and herbal tones, good substance and depth, lots of power, noticeable but integrated alcohol, a hint of dark berries in the background, a little woody, chalky-salty mineral tones, still very young, very good, firm and concentrated, again juicy finish with minerality and fine herbal flavours.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
