Clear, well-defined nose with ripe blackberries, a hint of cherries, and dark, slightly tobacco-like barrel tones. Fresh, clear, juicy fruit with fine, youthful tannins and a bite of acidity, a touch of smoke and herbal-plant nuances on the palate, fine acidity, hinted licorice, a bit of salt, good to very good, fresh-juicy, and delicately spicy finish.
