2010 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Gries Lagrein, Alto Adige, Italy

Fairly cool, slightly tart nose, preserved cherries and mixed berries, tart herbaceous traces. Juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, polished and ripe, very fine, mature tannins, more delicate herbaceous notes, full-bodied and creamy, but also has cool notes, harmonious and fairly persistent, elegant bite and grip, slightly spicy on a good finish. Very well made.
