2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Vernatsch "Galea", Alto Adige, Italy

Red berries on the nose, bitter herbs, earthy and roasted notes. Very smooth and cool on the palate, soft fruit, preserved cranberries, noticeable bitter almonds, moderate tannins, quite full-bodied and slightly alcoholic, but clean and approachable, slightly warm on an attractive to good finish.
