2019 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Weißburgunder Riserva "Tyrol", Alto Adige, Italy

Tart, dried-vegetable to herbal and nutty scent with yellow-fruity aromas as well as dried-floral, mushroom and woody traces. Warm, ripe yellow fruit, nutty, slightly woody and hints of tobacco, a touch of butter in the background, good substance and persistence, fine acidity, moderate tannic grip, plenty of power and noticeable alcohol, a hint of black berries in the background, very good, quite firm finish with herbal notes. Has picked up again since August.

Editor note: Nutty, somewhat herbaceous-vegetable and a little floral aroma with relatively fine yellow-fruity aromas. Powerful in the mouth, bright, ripe, tart fruit with nutty and very delicate smoky tones, somewhat vegetal and herbaceous on the palate, good persistence, very fine acidity, lots of power, but does not go too wide despite the high alcohol, mineral hints, good, firm, tart finish.
