2015 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Weißburgunder Riserva "V Years", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm and quite deep, somewhat woody aroma of ripe, partly dried yellow fruits with nutty aromas, soup herbs and mineral tones. Very ripe, melting, warm fruit with nutty and smoky-woody aromas, fine acidity, some yellow spice, vegetal and herbal tones, very slightly ethereal on the palate, a little reminiscent of juniper, buttery-caramel hints, some crumbly tannin, lots of power and noticeable alcohol, which integrates well with air, light tobacco in the background, a hint of exoticism, initially a little broad, but tightens up with time, chalky minerality in the background, very good, ripe-fruity and melting finish, again with ethereal spice and tannin grip. Has a lot of everything, also a certain heaviness, but also complexity and depth.
