Ripe, warm, melting fruit with a fine bite, nutty, somewhat buttery and also vegetable to vegetable flavours, some grip, smoky nuances, good substance and persistence, chalk and salt in the background, tones reminiscent of wild mushrooms, a lot of power and a certain alcohol warmth, but also polish, a hint of caramel, very good, quite firm finish. Has developed well and still appears ageless.
