2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Riserva trocken Zeno, Alto Adige, Italy

Partly preserved red berries on the nose, earthy and mineral traces, slightly smoky, prominent spicy oak. Fairly juicy, clear, ripe fruit on the palate, more prominent oak, roasted notes, fairly fine tannins, only slightly astringent, quite creamy, but also has cool elements, dried herbs and mineral notes in the background, good to very good finish. Will probably still improve with time.
