Light smoky and earthy notes on the nose, partly preserved mixed berries, hint of tobacco, nutty, spicy oak. Tart fruit on the palate, slightly sooty, nutty oak, some dark chocolate notes, fine, dusty, slightly astringent tannins, prominent high alcohol, earthy notes in the background, hint of tobacco, tart spicy traces, fairly persistent, becomes more juicy with aeration, light bitter touch, good to very good, alcoholic finish.
