2010 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Chardonnay Flora, Alto Adige, Italy

Nutty and buttery notes on the nose, ripe pomaceous fruit, vegetal as well as light earthy and mineral notes. Full-bodied, ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, nutty, buttery and herbaceousromas, some yellow spice, concentrated and persistent, lively, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, fairly prominent mineral notes, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, very creamy, but also still quite fresh, hint of caramrel, more noticeable alcohol on a very good, juicy, spicy finish, some bite.

Editor note: Firm nose, partly candied melon and pomaceous fruit, some partly dried citrus fruit, nutty notes, light herbaceous notes, prominent, spicy mineral notes. Full-bodied, concentrated and creamy on the palate, very ripe, but also polished fruit, nutty notes, sugar candy, moderate oak, very elegant, ripe acidity, concentrated and persistent, almost sweetish green vegetal notes, asparagus and pulses, mineral notes in the background, has some depth, compact and very harmonious, very good finish.
