2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Riserva Rossa, Alto Adige, Italy

Medium-intense nose, partly dried dark berries, cedar and undergrowth, herbs and spices, light minty note, mineral notes. Compact, fairly restrained fruit on the palate, preserved and dried berries, prominent herbaceous notes, some chocolate, integrated oak and high alcohol give a slightly sweetish note, full-bodied, but not clumsy, prominent velvety tannins, delicate bitter touch on a very good finish.
