2018 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Merlot Riserva "Siebeneich", Alto Adige, Italy

Firm, a hint of animal scent of ripe black berries with floral nuances and a hint of liquorice. Ripe, juicy, polished fruit with smoky, roasted wood aromas, some chocolate and coffee, youthful, crumbly tannin, lots of strength and warmth, good sustainability, quite polished style, lasting, a little salty in the background, very good, juicy and again smoky finish
