2016 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon Blanc andrius, Alto Adige, Italy

Firm nose, vegetal and herbaceous notes, hint of white pepper, green and yellow fruit, elegant floral notes, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, concentrated, juicy fruit on the palate, very elegant acidity, yeasty tracesm peppery and vegetal notes, persistent and concentrated, very full-bodied, creamy, mineral notes in the background, touch of elderflower, becomes more elegant with aeration, very good long finish.

Editor note: Fairly cool, firm, youthful nose, light yellow fruit, fresh vegetal and herbaceous aromas, some elderflowers, light mineral notes. Firm, ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, fresh vegetal and herbaceous as well as light floral notes, lively, elegant acidity, persistent and concentrated, hint of dark berries, prominent mineral notes, full-bodied, but also polished, fine tannins, good depth, still undeveloped, very good firm, juicy, minerally finish. Much better than the first sample.

Editor note: Clear, fairly cool nose, pomaceous fruit, fresh vegetal aromas, some citrus notes and green berries, mineral notes in the background. Fairly juicy, polished fruit on the palate, very elegant, lively acidity, more fresh vegetal and herbaceous aromas, straightforward style, good persistence, light mineral notes in the background, remains quite elegant in spite of the high alcohol level, very good polished, juicy finish.
