Editor note: Light nutty, vegetal and herbaceous notes on the nose, yellow fruit, some yellow spice, mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, fairly sweet fruit on the palate, partly candied and preserved, elegant acidity, light grip, nutty, delicate buttery traces, some caramel, vegetal traces in the background, good substance and persistence, slightly salty, floral traces, hint of dark berries, some depth, full body, very good finish.
Best to drink: 2019-2025+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria. The narrow valley along the Danube is only 33 kilometres long, the wine growing area 15 kilometres long.
