Editor note: Vegetal nose, light earthy and delicate nutty notes, pomaceous fruit, hint of tobacco and some bacon, soup greens, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, concentrated fruit on the palate, partly dried and candied, prominent tobacco notes, touch of soup greens and bacon again, full body, persistent, slightly spicy, buttery traces, still largely undeveloped, very creamy, but also has grip, good depth, compact structure, complex, yellow spice and sugar candy, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, very good long, juicy finish.
Best to drink: 2019-2030+

One of the eight specific wine growing areas in the Austrian province or generic wine growing area of Lower Austria. It is crossed by the Danube, on whose northern bank slopes many of the most terraced vineyards are located. The partly very steep vineyards are among the steepest vineyards in Austria.
