2020 Wachau DAC Riesling Smaragd® trocken "Vision", Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Cool, deep, still very youthful stone and pome fruit scent with ethereal-herbal, still delicately yeasty and also mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, somewhat sweet fruit, fine acidity marbling the wine, grip of crumbly tannin, persistent, herbal, somewhat salty and chalky, lasting, good depth, floral nuances, also a bit of red and black berries, still completely undeveloped, a hint of sesame, very good, firm, grippy, again relatively sweet finish with tart minerality and herbal-vegetable notes. Definitely needs to mature.
