2021 Kamptal DAC Ried Renner Grüner Veltliner Erste ÖTW Ried trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart, firm and cool aroma with fine vegetal and yellow fruity aromas, nutty traces, a hint of mushrooms and hints of bacon. Clear, polished, fine-juicy, tart fruit, vegetal, slightly herbal and peppery notes, a hint of smoke, very fine acidity and some grip, persistent on the palate, elegant style, good substance and some depth, nutty hints, clear, salty and a little reminiscent of mussel shells minerality, very good, firm, cool, juicy and tart-spicy finish.

Editor note: Firm and quite deep, still delicately reductive, somewhat yeasty, clearly planty to herbaceous aroma with bright yellow fruity aromas, a little root vegetables, bright minerality reminiscent of mussel shells and hints of mushrooms. Still closed, very tart fruit with yeasty, herbal and chalky tones, fine acidity and grip, persistent on the palate, certain inner power but no heaviness, elegant style, certain freshness, lots of light minerality, very good, polished, cool finish with grip and pull.
