Slightly warm aroma of ripe red and black berries with tobacco and nutty aromas, a little dry herbs and hints of liquorice with animal traces. Ripe, clear, tangy fruit with a hint of aubergine and citrus zest, fine acidity, crumbly, fine sandy yet still youthful tannins with grip, persistent on the palate, again some warmth, smoky nuances in the background, a little peppery and earthy, herbal hints, some minerality, very good, firm finish. Needs to mature.
