2015 Assmannshausen Höllenberg Spätburgunder trocken Crescentia, Rheingau, Germany

Very light sweaty notes on the nose, undergrowth and dried vegetal notes, red and black berries, smoky and earthy notes, fairly prominent tarry notes. Very slightly jammy red and black fruit on the palate, dried vegetal and earthy notes, slightly smoky oak, more tar, mushrooms in the background, hint of cocoa, touch of dried herbs, salty traces, fairly persistent, hint of bacon on a good to very good, slightly astringent finish.
