Editor note: Translate to English Ein wenig rustikales Holz in der Nase, dazu teils angetrocknete rote und schwarze Beeren, etwas Kirschen und erdige sowie vegetabile und tabakige Töne. Herbe, erst etwas verschwommene, mit Luft deutlich präzisere Frucht im Mund, holzige und vegetabile Aromen, ein wenig erdig, antrocknendes Tannin, gute Substanz und Nachhaltigkeit, mineralische Anklänge, auch im ansich guten bis sehr guten Abgang etwas trocknend und rustikal.

The production area is located in the federal state of Hessen in Germany. The vineyards cover 3,211 hectares of vine area starting at the lower Main river east of Wiesbaden and extending about 50 kilometres along the right bank of the Rhine to Lorch north of Rüdesheim.
