Vegetable, underbrush-like and slightly reminiscent of tree bark nose with black and increasingly also red berries with herbal nuances as well as nutty, tobacco-like and dried-mushroom hints. Slim and bitter in the mouth, cool, relatively juicy fruit with some tree bark, foliage, and nutty tones, slightly smoky on the palate, crumbly-sandy tannins and a certain acidity bite, a bit of maple, salt in the background, still slightly drying in the very good finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2025 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
