Firm, somewhat tobacco and nutty-woody spicy scent of ripe, mainly black berries with cedar nuances and hinted gingerbread spice. Ripe, juicy, again rather dark fruit, smoky and toasty, also dark chocolate wood spice, some bite and present, still youthful tannin, persistent on the palate, lots of power, spicy, somewhat sooty and very slightly bacony notes on the palate, some depth, salty hints in the background, very good, firm, tart finish with dark fruit and still present wood
